I design, I collect and I know things. That's what I do. (nod to Tyrion Lannister, Game of Thrones)
By day I am a Senior production designer at a marketing/PR firm. I have 23+ years experience in design and production for print, publication and web, covering corporate identity, product photography, image manipulation, color correction and editing. Current clients include The DC Jazz Festival, TSA, GSA, Hitachi Federal Data Systems, Hewlett Packard, Motorola and The National Cherry Blossom Festival. I am a GDUSA Graphic Design award winner for brochure, annual report and logo designs. My design portfolio is available on request.
Recently, collecting has become my primary creative outlet. I collect a wide-variety of vintage items. Tools (rules, hand tools, woodworking tools, tools related to machining, plumbing & drafting, etc...); advertising tins, vintage office supplies, pin-backs. It is actually difficult to quantify them all. My Flatlay gallery is here. Prints will be available soon and my 2019 calendar will be out in the late fall. Stay tuned
I maintain a fairly hefty collection of vintage cameras, Kodachrome slides and an extensive historic family archive.
I worked for years in photo restoration and BW image coloring in. In 2015 I produced work for two History Channel specials – Blood and Glory: The Civil War in Color and Ancient Aliens. Here is that gallery.
