I design, I collect and I know things. That's what I do. (nod to Tyrion Lannister, Game of Thrones)
By day I am a graphic production designer at a marketing/PR firm. I have 20+ years experience in design and production for print, publication and web. Covering corporate identity, product photography, image manipulation, color correction and editing. Current clients include The DC Jazz Festival, US Fish & Wildlife Service, TSA, GSA, Hitachi Federal Data Systems, Hewlett Packard, Motorola and The National Cherry Blossom Festival. I am a GDUSA Graphic Design award winner for brochure, annual report and logo designs. My design portfolio is available on request.
I have worked in photo restoration and BW image color reconstruction. In 2015 I produced work for two History Channel specials – Blood and Glory: The Civil War in Color and Ancient Aliens. Here is that gallery. In 2013 I worked with a group of "colorizers" on the sub Reddit ColorizedHistory
Recently my collecting has become focus for my creative outlet. I collect a variety of vintage items. Tools (rules, hand tools, woodworking tools); Advertising tins, Vintage office supplies, pinbacks. It is actually difficult to quantify all of my collections. You'll just have to check out my Instagram feed to see what I've got!
I fairly hefty collections vintage cameras, Kodachrome slides as well as an extensive historic family archive.
